Neil Hawkesford is a fool - He's proved it many times.
His first book, 'A Foolish Voyage', saw him try to sail a 18ft boat across the Bay of Biscay.
His second, 'A Foolish Odyssey', detailed years of 'productive insanity' as he built a 38ft ocean-going catamaran in a barn miles from the sea.
Now, in his third book 'A Foolish Escape', he describes his four years of trying to 'live the dream' and stay afloat (literally and figuratively).
Sacha Guitry, the French actor and playwright once said - "Our wisdom comes from our experience, and our experience comes from our foolishness".
If that's true, Mr Hawkesford must surely be a wise man.
