Description

About the Author
Mr. White is a former United States Naval officer with combat service. He is also an avid, life-long sailor. As a maritime historian, he specializes in Age of Sail events in which the United States was a key player and lectures frequently on the impact of these events on our history. White has seven historical novels and one non-fiction history to his credit, each set in the early 19th century and centered on the young American Navy. He has also written two books centered on the Royal Navy in the late 18th century, one dealing with the capture of the Bounty mutineers and one focusing on a major shipwreck on Grand Cayman where he lives when not in New Jersey.
